WP&M came about from my desire to see quality material published that dealt solely with painting miniatures for wargames.

The wargames press might publish the odd article in their magazines but they are always limited for space with competing articles and do not give the subject of miniature painting the attention it deserves.  

There are plenty of websites out there dedicated to painting all the latest NMM, SENMM and source lighting techniques but there are not many sites that deal with the average wargames painter who does not have 200 hours to paint their next award winning model.

That is not to say the quality of work in WP&M is low, on the contrary I think the standard of the painting in the magazine is incredibly high. But my aim for the magazine is that it will be inspirational, informative but with results that are achievable.
